Hello there! Welcome to my personal website.
Here, you can find more about me and explore my research.
I am Leon Klein, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics at Freie Universität Berlin, supervised by Prof. Frank Noé.
My research lies at the intersection of machine learning and molecular sampling, with a focus on generative modeling, normalizing flows, and symmetries.
In 2022, I joined the AI4Science team at Microsoft Research as a visiting researcher and in the summer of 2024, I was a research intern at D. E. Shaw Research.
Before beginning my doctoral studies, I obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physics.
Outside of research, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, ballroom dancing, playing the piano, and Magic: The Gathering.
